Impulse: HL2RP – Public Chat Command List​

This guide lists all text commands available in the impulse: HL2RP gamemode and framework (non admin commands).
Each command includes its description and syntax (how to use it in chat).

Public Commands​

These are commands accessible to all players (unless restricted by faction or role).

Combine Field Commands (CP / OTA)​

Operational and communication commands available to Civil Protection (CP) and Overwatch Transhuman Arm (OTA) units.

/radiocmd or /rcmd	CP Command	Send a private radio message to other commanding officers (DCO+).	/rcmd <message>
/cpradio or /cpr	All CP Units	Private Civil Protection radio	/cpr <message>
/otaradio or /otr	All OTA Units	Private Overwatch radio	/otr <message>
/invsearch	All CP Units	Search the inventory of a detained or restrained citizen.	/invsearch
/squadwaypoint	Squad Leader	Place a waypoint visible to your squad members.	/squadwaypoint <text>
/pthalo	Squad Members	Enable or disable the teams halo (behind walls)	/pthalo
/waypoint	CP Command or Scanner	Place a waypoint visible to all CP units citywide.	/waypoint <text>

Notes:​

CP Command includes high-ranking Civil Protection officers who coordinate city operations and have access to leadership tools and whitelists:​

– OFC (Officer)​

– SQL (Squad Leader)​

– DVL (Section Leader)​

– DCO (District Command Officer)​

– CMD (City Commander)​

OTA Command refers to top-ranking Overwatch officers:​

– LDR (Squad Leader)​

– EOW (Elite Overwatch / Commander)​

All CP Units: Includes ranks RCT, i5, i4, i3, i2, i1 — field officers with access to patrol and squad systems.​

All OTA Units: Includes EOS and above; able to use squad radio, tactical orders, and coordination systems.​

• Whitelist levels:​

– CP → 1 = i4, 2 = i3, 3 = i2, 4 = i1, 5 = OfC, 6 = SqL, 7 = DvL, 8 = DcO, 9 = CmD​

– OTA → 1 = EOS, 2 = LDR, 3 = EOW​

​

• SteamID format required: "STEAM_X:Y:Z" (legacy).​

• 0 always removes whitelist / access.​

• Commands marked CP Command or OTA Command require leadership ranks and are unavailable to standard patrol units.​

• Abuse of command privileges may result in disciplinary review.​

Vortigaunt Commands​

Reserved for Vortigaunt characters and their shared vortessence network.

• Some public commands are automatically restricted to certain factions or roles (e.g., Civil Protection or OTA).
